Take advantage of one of the most memorable, educational experiences available to children in mid-Missouri at Arrow Rock’s Children’s Craft Festival.
Our next Children’s Craft Festival is scheduled for September 25, 2018!
Children enjoy hands-on activities and visit in person with artisans and reenactors who bring the 1800s to life during this unique experience. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 25. (Rain date: Tuesday, Oct. 2), 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the village of Arrow Rock, Missouri. The event is targeted for third-sixth grades, but all ages are welcome. This years activities, demonstrations and experiences include: quilting, apple butter cooking, weaving, pottery making, rope making, chair caning, butter making, soap making, voting with a quill pen, bobbin lace making, rug hooking, doing the wash, games, kettle corn, nature exhibits, ice cream, frontier herbs, gun smithing, scrimshaw, music, Native American stone tools, black smithing, Santa Fe Trader encampment.
