ARSENIC AND OLD LACE
What do you do when your eccentric family has actual skeletons in the closet?
Mortimer Brewster may be the only sane member of his family. One brother thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt and digs the Panama Canal in the cellar. His other brother keeps undergoing ghastly plastic surgeries to hide from the police. And his adorably sweet spinster aunts take in lonely boarders… and dispose of them with their special elderberry wine. To make matters worse, Mortimer has fallen in love with Elaine, the minister’s daughter from next door, and a houseful of murderous relatives probably won’t help the relationship. This beloved screwball comedy set in 1940s Brooklyn will leave you laughing — and saying no to the elderberry wine!
